Woolen card woven band.
Made to order. This band is handcrafted by me using an ancient weaving technique called tablet weaving. The trim will make a perfect addition to Iron Age reenactment garment, great embellishment to Celtic clothes. Its pattern is based on the archaeological textile find from Hallstatt salt mines (Austria, 8-6th c. BC), labelled HallTex 152. I used the same weaving technique as the original band - the mix of 2-hole and 4-hole card weaving although my replica is a bit wider than the trim found.
