Woolen card woven trim.
Made to order. The pattern o fthe band is based on the find from Gaigovo (Old Ladoga region), dated to 11th c. I wove it in the same weaving technique as the original band - mix of 4 hole and 2 hole threaded tablets. The width of the original piece was 1,6 cm.
This trim will be a perfect addition to early medieval Viking costume. Geometrical pattern makes the trim very universal in terms of reenactment and historical accuracy.
