Woolen card woven headband.
This tablet woven woolen band is made to order. It is a perfect addition to Vendel or Viking costume.
It is based on the archaeological find from Vestrum (Vestfold, Norway, 6-7th c.). I used the same weaving technique as the original band - the mix of 2-hole and 4-hole card weaving although my replica is a bit wider than the trim found.
Length: about 50 cm /19,5 inch of the woven part + about 30 cm long braided parts
Width: about 1,3 cm / 0,5 inch
Colors: red, yellow, brown
