This headband is handwoven from wool on a rigid heddle. It features plain weave (the so called ‘tabby’, also achievable with tablet weaving) - the basic type of weave used from antiquity to modern times. Such a headband will make a perfect addition to reenactment costume like Celtic, Roman, Slavic , Viking and others.
Length: about 50 cm /19,5 inch of the woven part + about 30 cm braided ends
