Woolen hand woven headband.
This headband is handcrafted by me on a rigid heddle. It features the most common kind of weave throughout history - plain weave (tabby) also achievable with tablet weaving.
This band is made to order. It is a perfect addition to Iron Age or early medieval costume like Celtic or Viking one. It will also make a great hatband for modern hats.
Length: about 50 cm /19,5 inch of the woven part + about 30 cm braided ends
Width: about 1,6 cm / 0,6 inch – see the photo
