Woolen card woven trim.
Made to order. This band is handcrafted by me using an ancient weaving technique called tablet weaving. The band is based on the Snartemo II find - dated to 6th century trim found in Hægebostad, Norway. It is woven in the same 2-hole technique but it is a bit wider than the original find. This type of tablet woven band will make a perfect addition to early medieval costume.
